Remy Ma is once again adding fuel to the fire regarding her estranged husband, Papoose.
On Friday, the Bronx rapper released the full video for “Why I Get Married?” featuring Keke Wyatt, showcasing different elements of Rem taking in various stages of a marriage, from the dream dress and what it could be, all the way through the split and, ultimately, the beginning stages of walking away.
“What did I even see in him? He’s so gross to me now,” Remy says on the track, but not before sending various barbs questioning Papoose’s manhood and more. “I’m not attracted to anything about this man. I wouldn’t let him f-ck me with Morris Chestnut’s d-ck in his prime.”
Rem alludes to “burning everything down like Lisa,” a play on TLC member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, setting fire to the mansion of her then-boyfriend, NFL wide receiver Andre Rison, after she accused him of infidelity. The video ends with the house set ablaze, and Remy walking away as Keke Wyatt continues harmonizing on the chorus.
The visual comes in a rather awkward moment for both Rem and Keke. The “Nothing In This World” singer was recently arrested on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, or child cruelty charges, all of which she denies. In a post uploaded to her Instagram account, Wyatt’s representatives state that she was only charged with “simple assault” and felt it was hurtful that media outlets widely circulated the allegations of child cruelty.
“We are particularly concerned by the circulation of allegations involving cruelty to children, as this is an extremely serious characterization and is not a charge reflected in the court documentation in this matter,” the statement reads.
The statement from Wyatt clashes with the initial police report, which lists all three of the charges that Wyatt is disputing.
Meanwhile, Rem and Papoose have continued their war of words over social media and in respective diss tracks. Earlier this month, Pap released “Jezebel,” aimed at Remy, as both parties continue a contentious divorce, with the settlement to officially dissolve their marriage yet to be signed. Remy’s upcoming EP, “Alimony,” is due to be released soon.
